Dan here, I met walking out of a shop.. He had this amazing beard and a cool way about him.. I was starting my beard exhibition and asked to take his portrait, for the series..

I then came up with the idea, which lead to these images entitled ‘Transformer’.. Where we shot Dan over one day and gradually cut back the beard and hair to make him look like 6 different characters.. Each character had a name, that had referenced to hair, or something of that nature..

The original set of shot, ran in Black & White, but I’ve just unearthed these and wanted to see how they’d look graded in colour..

It’s not everyday I get to shoot a Hitler Tash..
